Can you believe that...
Nearly a quarter of the European population is overweight, the proportion of diabetics is close to 10%, while 16% suffer of constipation. These diseases can be greatly attributed to an inappropiate diet.
The Roles of Dietary Fibers
Among the many relevant roles of dietary fibers, we highlight their importance in promoting intestinal motility and feeding the intestinal microbiome.
We can help the functioning of our digestive system by eating the right amount of dietary fibers. Unfortunately, we often consume only half of the recommended daily amount of fibers, which should be 35-40 grams for adults.
Fiber-rich snack for your health
Fruits, vegetables and certain seeds contain both soluble and insoluble dietary fibers. The human body needs both.
Dietary fibers may prevent or mitigate constipation, the risk of obesity, high LDL-cholesterol levels, heartburn, some colon diseases, fluctuating blood sugar levels and nourish the gut microbiome.
The FiberVia® snacks are so rich in fiber that just one pack (50g) will cover about half of your daily requirement!
Environmentally conscious operation
About 10 billion liters of vegetable and fruit juice are produced in Europe every year. Pressed fibers left over during production are most often considered as useless by-products and, as such, are usually discarded.
We can prepare a valuable product out of the fibers considered useless, which are in fact the healthiest ingredients of fruits and vegetables. Our unique technology enables to upcycle apple, carrot, beetroot, hemp pomace, as well as oat bran, resulting in FiberVia, a tasty and additive-free snack with outstandingly high (35%) fiber content.
We rely on local and regional producers in the procurement of raw materials.
